Stay-at-Home Order extended through May 8

20 Apr 2020 1:31 PM | Travis Oliver (Administrator)

Gov. Tom Wolf announced the first small steps in reopening some businesses.

"Our new case numbers have stabilized, and we have prevented the patient surges that we were all so concerned about and that we saw in other places," Wolf said during a news conference Monday. "We are taking small steps towards regaining a degree of normalcy."

The statewide stay-at-home order has been extended through May 8, but then officials will start to ease some restrictions, Wolf said.

The phased reopening, starting May 8, will vary by industry and region, the governor said.
