    A heads up if you are going to the airport this morning. Spirit airlines has canceled at least ten flights to or from Philadelphia International Airport on Monday. 

    The airport just confirmed this to FOX 29 the flight cancellations, but they have not said why the flights have been canceled.

    The CDC says Philadelphia is now seeing ‘substantial’ community spread of COVID-19.

    According to the CDC’s Data Tracker, ‘substantial’ transmission means there have been 50-99.99 total new cases per 100,000 persons in the last seven days.

     The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention says “the war has changed” because of the COVID-19 Delta variant, and with concerns rising across the country, at least two Philadelphia restaurants have changed their rules. Martha said Saturday it will require all guests to provide proof of vaccination to dine indoors or sit at its bar.

    It’s the second week of Eagles Training Camp, and we already have an injury to tell you about. Rookie wide-receiver DeVonta Smith is listed as week-to-week due to a knee sprain.

    Smith suffered the injury during Saturday evening’s practice at the Novacare Complex.

    It’s time to dust off the running shoes as Philadelphia’s favorite 10-miler inches closer to its in-person return following a delay due to the pandemic.

    Organizers announced Friday that general registration for the Blue Cross Broad Street Run lottery will be open between Aug. 1 and Aug. 7, with runners being alerted to their selection status via email on Aug. 9.

    To register, runners should go to broadstreetrun.com. The registration fee is $57.
