The City’s expanded outdoor dining initiative has enabled hundreds of restaurants across Philadelphia to earn much-needed revenue by offering outdoor dining, safely. In June, the City launched four new options for restaurants to operate outdoor dining.

As the weather gets cooler, new challenges are presented for restaurants. The City has been developing guidance and best practices as businesses prepare to offer outdoor dining through the colder months.

The new guidelines—which address shelter and heating specifications—provide businesses with as much flexibility as possible, consistent with the Philadelphia Fire Code and current COVID-19 safety measures.

The Philadelphia City Commissioners are hiring Philly residents to help staff 15+ satellite elections offices and to assist with other election-related tasks. Starting IMMEDIATELY for a period of 4-6 weeks, this is a great way to make a difference as a public servant. If you or anyone you know would like to contribute directly to the effective and efficient administration of voting by mail and voting early in person in Philadelphia, this is a great opportunity!

Don’t delay, the election is just days away and they are hiring ASAP.
