Join the Philadelphia Commission for Women and the Free Library of Philadelphia for a special evening of conversation to celebrate Women's Equality Day and Making Her Mark: Philadelphia Women Fight For the Vote, highlighting materials from the Free Library and other special collections.

The exhibit's research and development will be discussed alongside the digital project Suffrage. Race. Power. Unerased, which re-centers the contributions of Black women in the suffrage movement through multimedia experiences and dialogue. Join us to learn more and share your own stories!

Attendees will receive information about additional resources available online to continue the conversation in their own communities and lift up contemporary movements in the fight for the vote. This program is inspired by the Free Library of Philadelphia's Making Her Mark exhibit, now on view free of charge online and in person: for more details visit the Free Library of Philadelphia website
