Did you ever wonder why your street is so dangerous for most of its users—those who walk and bike? The City of Philadelphia has taken the Vision Zero pledge and committed our city to the program. Participating cities pledge to reduce deaths of all those on the streets -- whether in cars, walking, biking, or in a stroller -- to zero. The Vision Zero team has been hard at work redesigning streets to make our neighborhoods more livable and safer for all ages. Join this discussion and learn about the current work in Center City as well as the current research that supports new street practices and designs.

Lily Reynolds is the Deputy Director, Office of Complete Streets, and Joy Huertas is Vision Zero Communications Manager, both from the Office of Transportation, Infrastructure, & Sustainability at the City of Philadelphia.

This will be an online event hosted via Zoom Conferencing. You do not need a Zoom account but you will need to download and install the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device to join the event. If you cannot join the event using your computer or mobile device and the Zoom app, you can join the event via teleconference and hear the audio portion.
