Penn’s Village Reads:
“Nearing 90” by Judith Viorst
Friday, July 24, 2020, 3:30 pm
Pat Wisch will read from “Nearing 90,” bestselling author Judith Viorst’s book of poems that candidly share the complicated joys and everyday tribulations that await us at the age of ninety, all with a large dose of humor and an understanding that nothing in life should be taken too seriously. Viorst is a graduate of the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute, which means she has something else in common with Pat, who is a retired psychologist, hospital chaplain, former Director of the Institute of Awareness at the now-defunct YM/YWHA, and nearing 90!!
