  • 18 May 2011
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Trinity Center for Urban Life, 2200 Spruce Street

Learn about Philadelphia’s tumultuous history from 1865-1876 , when streetcars opened undeveloped areas to growth, a civil rights movement was born,  and competition between African Americans and Irish immigrants created a cauldron of conflict.   The Great Experiment is the first of several historical videos being produced by History Making Productions, founded in 2008 by Sam Katz.

Mr. Katz will introduce the film and answer questions.
